I know way back when, there were a lot of Shorthorn herds in Canada, (verify this JIT) that were noted for the uniformity of their calves. One that comes to mind was the Aberfeldy herd. This was before people worried pleasing the tastes of all the different judges.

Why weren't the sale barns notified to be watching for the stolen cattle? Pretty easy to distinguish between feeder and slaughter calves and show cattle.

I just read on Breeders World that the stolen cattle from Louisville have been found. Supposedly 2 were slaughtered and 2 were sold at a sale barn in Indiana not far from the Kentucky line. Anyone on here hear anything about them? Some things don't add up.

Thanks Doc. That helps a little. All I could find was a copy of an ad in a farm paper that listed the consignors. Maybe instead of trying to keep the website inhouse they should consider having someone else do it. Ranch House Design seems to put out good websites that are user friendly too.
