I like her, and like her calves even more. However I do think you could have gotten a better picture. Take a couple hours to get her just right, and at an angle that is almost oppostie of the one you have(more than one person will be needed)

I know nothing of Simmentals. Have a Paddy x Strictly Business x Foreplay heifer big boned, hairy, thick, good fronted. Wanting a bull that will add some broodiness, body, and fleshing ease. Looking for a simmy bull, other wise will be using Ramblin fever.

Any updates on last years bulls calves? Like Highliner, Womanizer, Ragin Cajun, Power Trip, Bojo? Also what are your thoughts on Immortal and Hairy bear calves?

I have only had 5 head dehorned cosmetically. The first 4 I took the vet had never done it before, the main vet did one side to show him how and left, amazingly all four of those heifers look great and still havent had any regrowth(almost 3 years) The most recent two look like crap, and the one...

What does everyone elses vets charge? Ours charge $40-70 depending on number of animals. He also charges a whopping $275 for cosmetic dehorning, and they look like $hit afterwards, along with an occasional 6 inch incision down the side of the face. >:(

Normally the older/heavier bred they are the better they look. Most times with young calves they will still be real green and hard to compete against a heavy bred female.

You don't need beet pulp in a grower ration, especailly not if you are really wanting him to grow.
