The ground zero calves I have had grow to usually the same frame as the cow, just thicker. I have a 3 Year old Ground Zero that I raised that will have her first AI calf next spring. She has always been my fav. AI female I have kept. My least fav heifers I have kept are ALIs.

I would not got with many of the Ali sons. I have seen almost all of them and not impressed.  I like the dirty hairy calves and Whichdoctor calves and most whichdoctor sons have always been good and produce good mothers. The best proven Ali son that I know of is Smokin Joe he actually has EPDs...

For Steers He has worked the best for me on my Simm x cows out of a meyer 734 son. And the heifers look like real good replacements out of my mostly angus cows and some simm.

I have not found a bad tempermented Sunseeker yet, they are always the best at my place. But all of my cows are very quite also.

Boardwalk would be worth a try if you can get semen on him, but no one really knows what his calves will be like yet.

Every Sunseeker and Eyes on the Money calf I have had out of my angus and simm cows have been far better than any WMW I have raised out of the same cows. Also my first set of my turns this year are quickly becoming my favorites so far.

I saw Cut Above (fat butt) this spring at nichols and he was one of my favorite bulls there. I bought some straws and plan on using it maybe next year.

One of the best ideas I heard was put a fan on them that they cant reach kicking, then tie streamers to it just long enough to touch the calf. I have not tried it myself, I have been fortunate enough to not have a kicker in a while. I know it worked for them though.
