Oil companies and did step in and buy corn to make it hard for ethanol to compete.  There are many other technologies out there will be better solutions if they eventually reach the market place.  Fuel cells have always intrigued me, but we need the infrastructure up where a person can fill...

I follow our college BB teams, Kansas State Wildcats and Kansas Jayhawks.  I had a brother go to Kstate and a sister go to KU, but I always root for the Wildcats when they face each other.

Ethanol production has grown considerably in Kansas.  I have a friend that is a large hog farmer and the price of corn is killing him.  I drive a diesel, so I have never tried a blend of ethanol, but I have considered using biodiesel.

We never got into showing swine, but I used to pretty big into sheep.  They don't require much work.  I didn't even start working with mine too much until a week before the show and could usually get it into gear. What else have you shown or do you show? 

Must be nice. Reminds of showing sheep, wash them, shear them, and painted their toes and your done.
