Ive had steers like this before and i think its because they are too straight legged ,mostly in the pasterns. I guess you could try different stuff, but ours didnt really benefit from walking/exercising. If your steer isnt too straight legged it might make a difference - i dont know.

I coulnt use the conditioner a couple hours after i apply the color? Im worried my steers hair wont pop if i put lots of conditioner in it - he has really hard to pop hair. Maybe conditioner would help it - i dont know ???Also,would like showsheen or revive work instead of the fabric softener...

What is the best kind of feed to feed a steer like my black one ? Is there something  i could have fed him that mght have helped with this?

These are my steers - Im gonna try one first to see if i got the size right - bear with me plz!!

Yeah, im gonna clip it , but he has a course shoulder with a break behind it and i need the hair there. He only has 2 weeks til showtime and had been growing hair until about 4 days ago. I try to brush alot, and i use pink oil and vinegar/infusiom mix. Any other tips??
