    Adams County Cattlemen's Steer & Heifer Show with Stierwalt, Weaver & $2,950!

    just wanted to say this was a good show to attend and watch. very nice facilities. Maybe next year there needs to be a speaker system rigged out to the other areas of the fairgrounds. Deans voice is golden but we couldn't hear it where we were and almost missed the class.

    Dr. WHo, next big thing?

    I'm considering breeding most of my cows to DW next season in hopes of some nice replacements. I love my dr Who females and I showed a very nice steer out of him several years ago raised by LT. They are very stylish, deep sided, fleshy cattle if you ask me. TH free as well and I've yet to see an...

    This is my cheap steer. Opinions?

    I'm not going to beat around the bush here. That steer is good for eating and that's about it. If you take him to any show you're gonna get smoked. Get him fat and try to win the carcass show atleasy

    ~~~Classified Success Stories - Post them here!~~~
    Back in June or so I posted an ad for a steer I had for sale and had a family come out and visit after seeing the ad. They've made several more trips back and ended up buying a really nice heifer from me that had come back up for sale due to certain circumstances. In the first show of the year...
    Judges on the Mic
    I think we can give up some soundness at a fat show on steers. Yes the argument for the mother and sister issue is valid, however, who knows if that non reproducing steer has any family at all? He's a steer and that's all that matters. Maybe that's why he was steered in the first place.
    Congrats to the "Savaged" family!
    No worries man. I seen you guys were "in the zone" working on your heifer and I know how it is. Are you feeding those calves miracle grow or something because I'm pretty sure both of your calves were the hairiest ones I saw (I know the steer was atleast )
    Congrats to the "Savaged" family!
    A big  (thumbsup) tonight for our very own Savaged. The Savage family pulled off the win tonight in Highland County beating out approx 100 other steers with the homegrown Monopoly Money calf! Easily the stoutest calf in the field tonight. <beer> <beer> <beer>
    Dirty hairy 2
    I haven't decided yet Savaged, it will depend on how much free time I have in August-September with the way my classes are scheduled plus she could use some more condition on her. I'll get you a weight this Monday when we move into the fair but I'm guessing she's 350-400lbs. @Carlson : she's a...
