I may have misunderstood the original post, but I interpreted it that they are wanting to sell the bred heifer??  I'm not always the sharpest tool in the shed though.  Anyone else draw that conclusion?

We dvr the show and love it.  Sure hope they make some more episodes.  I was totally suprised that they don't sugar coat every little thing for the bleeding hearts. 

Congrats!  Very nice cattle.  Glad to see they can not only look pretty, but do what cattle are supposed to do.  Keep up the good work.

#1    would be my choice.  They are both getting a little too fat for my liking if I was going to buy them for breeding heifers though.  If they are headed to the show ring, then that's another story.

Anyone watch it on the internet?  After a delay, due to a kid pulling the internet hookup out of the wall,  it seemed to go well.  It was fun watching, but not nearly as much fun as attending in person.  Just no substitute for the smell of chips and an occassional whiff of "money".  (lol)

I'm assuming you live in OK and hopefully the calves are still in OK. Have you asked for the calves back?  If they refused,  I'd start by cotacting your local sheriff.  I'm sure you'll get the standard, there's nothing I can do speech, but at least you tried.  Then I'd contact the oklahoma...

Ours was always pretty slow too, but we always got them eventually.  Hang in there.

How long should you give someone to get a check to you, for your calf, before you start doing something about it?  Big name = busy, I know, but we're talking months, and now I'm getting no response to my e-mails.  Should I worry?  Too late, already am.....

Gotta agree with you on that one!!  My shopping list would be long from some of the sales I've looked at lately.  It  is somewhat like looking at a well illustrated cookbook when you're on a diet!  I have bid before, but my pockets have never been deep enough.  I will way this, I believe online...

I knew tx was dry and I knew we're still very dry here in most of ok, but I had no idea how huge the area was until I saw the map on the blog.  Please pray for all the states.

Tons of searches here too.  If you want them to look good,  do what lightnin suggested and make your own.  I've spent hours upon hours redrawing pics because the ones online are so far from being actual show animals it's sad.  Good luck!
