I have probably 10 metal water tanks I am always hauling around. Seems like they develop leaks. I bought a bucket of bentonite. When I seal a tank up I have thrown in a couple buckets of badger dirt (clay) and then also a small amount of the bentonite that seems to help. Any body do it different?

I would be...….and I am scared to death of buying a Shorthorn bull. I did just buy a bull from Loving's though. Genetic defect free as possible. I will test him again just to make sure though.

I do know that the bulk of Shorthorn cattle today are for the show ring. I bet I have bought seven of these show ring type bulls and zero of them had enough fleshing ability to last in my environment. These cattle don't deserve to be even looked at in todays beef industry. I don't think that...

It always seemed like to me that the display club calf bulls out there...….well 90% of them are duds. They aren't subject to drug tests. They are fed and manufactured to with in inches of their life. They are all dead at the age of three. I don't know …..just my perception I guess.

I've hooked up my ipod to the Dewalt construction radios before. It seems like the digital read out for radio goes crazy on them. They do spend the cold nights in the barn and what not. What is another option?

Would the Maines be closer related to the Shorthorns than say the Angus breed. Aren't the "British breeds" all related way back.
