I'm going to vote for steer jocks and professional fitters as being one in the same.  And in my opinion, market heifers should be shown with the same criteria you would a steer,  by hip height or weight, and definately open.  

I agree with Jill, I'd like to clean up her neck a touch, but I'd take a whole pasture full just like her!  What's her breeding?

The calf pictured was sired by an ElmoXCub  bull.  I don't have pics taken of the other calves yet, but will try to get that done asap.  We have a smokey Hannibal steer, a red Dr. Who steer,  and a black Pac Man heifer.  Thanks for your interest.
