pic of amen steer curious what yall think? How did everybody else amen turnout?

This is our Amen bull calf...super stout and sound! Probably weighed around 90 lbs at birth out of a Golden Child cow.  Looks to have a similar color to him as the rest of the calves you guys have been posting out of Amen!

    Walkie Talkie/ Red Bull

I always had interest in Red Bull after I had seen he was Double Clean.  Was kind of always afraid maybe it was a misprint.  If you really look through some of the semen catalogs there are always tons of misprints as far as TH-PHA status.  I'm pretty sure in this case it is not a misprint...

pic of amen steer curious what yall think? How did everybody else amen turnout?

We had 2 Amen calves in March, both out of TH carrier Golden Child cows.  Really like both of them.  The bull calf is more stout than any other calf we have except a Walks Alone.  The heifer is really nice made and feminine.  Should make a nice female.  Both have pretty good hair.  Definitely...

    Nichols Manifest

I really appreciate the info, very helpful...I am still back and forth on using him.  I really thought there would be some more feedback on him.

    Nichols Manifest

Anyone have experience using Nichols Manifest? What types of females is he working on and will he cross well with Angus cows? I've been seeing his ad a lot lately and really like his look! Any input or pics would be great.

Rodgers' vs. Lautner's vs. Trausch's - Best Yearling Bulls Poll

Regardless of who owns the bull or what marketing schemes they use it shouldnt matter.  I want to use the best options for my herd that will result in the most productive calf or earn me the most money.  Monopoly might not be the most ideal or practical bull ever born but if people show up...

Rodgers' vs. Lautner's vs. Trausch's - Best Yearling Bulls Poll

I really like this idea! Only suggestion I would have is to add in Trausch also because I consider them to be one of the 'Big 3' as far as promotion and selection.

whats the knock on my turn's calves???

We kept a My Turn heifer out of a Sim-Angus cow for a replacement and she just had her first calf a few weeks back.  She has a beautiful udder and is making a great young cow.  She has a bull calf by Doc that is impressive.  Not positive what to breed her back too now, maybe I80 or Amen.

    Question about Dirty Hair calves

We have also had positive scenarios with DH2 and we actually have one due next week out of a Monopoly cow.  Just had the one last year with structure issues.  I still think he is worth using.

    Damn Proud

I know this site seems to be predominately shorthorn breeders and supporters so do any of you have any Damn Proud calves on the ground yet? Maybe some pics?

    deadliest catch

I like the look of this bull and could see him replacing Carpe Diem and even being better and used more often than Carpe Diem was.  I think the cross on Angus cows should be a good one to make some stylish and fast growing baldies!

    Question about Dirty Hair calves

We had a Dirty Harry 2 bull calf born buckled over on his front legs last year.  He weighs around 1100 lbs now and walks fine and looks good.  He just wasnt sellable as a show steer of course.

    Monoploy Heifers

Our Monopoly bred heifer had a Northern Improvement bull calf last year.  The calf has grown well just wasnt solid enough to be a show steer.  She is bred back to Dirty Harry 2 and due next week.

    Amen

Amen information has always been tough to find for some reason.  We had our first one last night out of a Golden Child cow...it was her third calf.  She had it with no problems and it probably weighs around 80 lbs (heifer).  She was up nursing and jumping around in no time.  Very pleased with...

    Crimson Tide

Used him in the past and always was cautious and considered him PHAC.  I would imagine its a misprint.  He does throw really nice calves and plan on using him again.

    Calberta Paydirt

I know a lot of you on here talk about older Maine Anjou genetics.  Can anyone find me a picture of Calberta Paydirt.  I like to keep an excel program going of our cattle pedigrees and keep as many pictures as possible.  This is one of the few I have trouble finding that I am in need of.  Thanks...
