In my experience, most folks "over" shampoo the calves hair. Once or twice a week is sufficient along with daily rinsing. More than that will just dry out the calf's hair. Most any shampoo not designed for oily hair should be OK. DLZ

Thanks for the ideas, What I am really asking is a price for year around care of cows. As I have 5 cows and currently purchase all the feed ( I only have 1.5 acre pasture). My kids have moved out so I have very little help now. It is a hassle to find hay to purchase, find a place for manure etc...
