No.  If the bull is only going to sell for 5k it won't be worth it for you to take him to FWSS, Denver or others.  It just costs to much to sell at those places.  IMO those sales are for all the syndicated inflated numbers type animals.

At Fort Worth they need to be halter broke.  And the commission is plenty high IMO.  So unless you think he will sell really high, it isn't worth it for a 5k animal.

Have one out of my Insight donor cow. Pretty nice calf IMO. No recent pics but her she was last fall.

We were still milking cows in the ninties and we bought some semen on a european Brown Swiss bull.  He came in 1/4cc straws but was not sexed.  I feel like that was pretty standard for the european stuff.  However, I didn't think that there were any US collected stuff that was in 1/4cc straws.

Love his calves, and his cows turn into the right kind IMO. I bred my best heifer to sexed Oracle, and she has passed over her first 21 days.  I'm pretty happy.  I think you will really like the results.

I've seen this too.  In fact the bull I am using now is a lot like that.  The bull I used previously would mount and hunch as often as possible.

I have tried the 1x super shot or something like that they called it through TransOva.  I will be going with a full run of FSH next few cows I do.  When I asked about the non FSH IVF the statistics that my rep provided me with were not all that appealing.

With the Broker in his blood I'd be nervous.  Much better prospects out there than that.
