Oakview-- I read your post about "Adaptations" for the Iowa State Fair and chuckled-- how are you going to adapt for this?  my guess is that they will allow shows with no spectators and basically no one there-- I don't know how you would police this huge fair for CDC guidelines.....  Of course...

I would definitely go a LBW Red Angus-- you should get a live calf and you should get a respectable, marketable calf-- may not be a "show" calf, but should have commercial use. EF

SKA-- try this homemade remedy-- mix a few drops of iodine with a tablespoon or so of Vaseline jelly-- mix it well and apply.  The iodine should kill the fungus and the Vaseline will keep the iodine in place and also assist in suffocating the fungus.  This is the homemade version of a product...

I don't really follow who is doing what anymore in the shorthorn circles-- I am down to only making it to one or maybe to sales each fall.  I like the commercial aspect of the KL line-- what is up with the dispersal-- retiring, changing directions, etc.  Thanks EF
