The red steer is a BIM X JPJ that was reserve shorthorn plus last weekend at Lima Ohio. The black heifer is a Rodger That X Sooner/Lifeline that found her way into a replacement pen after having a little extra shot of crazy.

Since you have a shorthorn plus heifer, you need either a shorthorn plus bull or a purebred bull. There are very few shorthorn plus bulls but the one , but I would go toward Crimson Tide. He is dead now, but his females make awesome cows and you can get a pretty good steer out of him too.

I don't think you can compare it to a live sale format either... Online auctions would be like putting all the calves in the ring at the same time and auctioning them all off at once. You don't do that. You bid on the one calf in the ring at that time and if that's not your cup of tea... You...

XBAR, I disagree with lots closing independantly. When we go to a sale, We list out our choices and watch them in that order. If I dont get my top choice, i move down the ladder to my next choice which should be open to bid on yet. Even in our own phone bid off, we give buyers a chance to drop...

Thanks for the feedback. We took 311 out three times and he was Grand twice and Reserve once.  You have a good eye. Would you change anything with the website design? or did you find it easy to navigate?

I was hoping for your results, but I had a 93# bull calf and a 95# bull calf out of Direct Whiskey. One dead and one alive. I have another coming in 2 weeks that is ultrasound as a heifer calf. I hope this one is small. I wont use on heifers again. I am going to use Slider this year on heifers.
