How did you meet your someone special?

Elbee, if you meant Sawboss  and not "Strawboss" I have posted about my experience.  By the way I admire a man of action with little words, cuts through all of the games.

We also have a Brangus heifer we purchased from Stalwart Ranch, she is the neatest little gal and very feminine.  This is the direction my youngest son wants to redirect his herd.

    Bloody Manure

Corrid is administered in their drinking water so it is best to treat all of them at one time to be safe.

    Bloody Manure

More than likely it is Coccidiosis.  Get liquid Corrid and follow the directions for 5 day cure.  Once you have it on your place, you will probably always have it in the future.  We have had two steers and a heifer have it.  Blood is runny with mucous due to the slipping of membrane of intestine.

    New Friend

We were deer hunting, no kills but saw several deer, coyotes and big herd of hogs.  We did not let my son shoot on the evening hunt because I did not want to skin anything.  The fellowship was wonderful and I will be going back through there in late February or early March to take a second look...

How do you and your's spend New Years Eve?

We stay home and build a big fire outside of the barn for family and friends to enjoy.  Cook a big meal and pop fireworks, usually wind it up about 10:00 pm so everbody can avoid the traffic on amateur night.  For those of you that don't know what amateur night is, we call this New Years Eve. ...

    Unlucky Christmas Eve

The heifer was on schedule, as she was bred in late June and really doing well.  The calf weighed 15-20 lbs. and was on target for it's stage of development.  There were no obvious defects in the calf.  Once the labor process started there was no turning back.
