    We had a few Jaxson calves here, they are coming along good. The calves ave. 95 lb so I wouldn't call him a heifer bull. Here is a Jaxson bull calf.

    Saskvalley Imperative 33X is a good bull. I have semen in the states on Muridale Jaxson 4A , His mother is a real deep good producing Saskvalley Bonanza daughter.

    I got thinking about deep gutted cattle in warmer climates, does this type survive in Texas Xbar or do they create too much heat in their furnace? I have been looking at pictures of Australian Shorthorns , you sure don't see too many deep gutted cows down there.

    We used Perfect Bet here a bit , the cows produced pretty well for us at the time. My Grandpa bred Muridale Slugg 14G,  Ray Frances, (HENGELO Shorthorns, Herbert, Sask) purchased him from us and used him a few years . Hengelo Shorthorns dispersed and sold Slugg and some cows into Montana ...

    Old Shorthorn Genetics still in use

    librarian, we are really pleased with how the Muridale Hero 31Z calves grow. This year we kept 9 Hero 31Z bull calves, they ave. 650 lbs at 205 days, while all the bulls in the pen ave. 638. They have lots of capacity. We have 3 daughters that will be calving this spring. Pictured is one of them.
