Here's another Blanco heifer calf.

The calf pictured is black he just has the red colored baby hair but he will be solid black. The other calves where solid red, red roan, dark blue roan and one wildly marked up calf.

This is our Tiger Woods heifer calf we had born this fall. Her dam is out of Slow Burn (Draft Pick son). We are really happy with her so far. She is very sound and thick just wich she had been a bull calf.lol

My daughters high school has an Ag barn that kids can keep their project animals at but there's so many rules that very few use it. My daughter wanted to keep her pig there but it was not worth it.

Our Heatseakers have had some nasty dispositions. We have one Heatseaker who is very tame until she has a calf and then she is awful with any person or animal that comes anywhere near her and her calf. We had one HS heifer that was so nasty that we had to take her to the market before she hurt...

We just went through that. One heifer was only 3 weeks old she lost a lot of hair and was very sick plus most of our other calves started getting it. The others were covered in scabs it was gross. Once we started treating them they all recoved just fine including the heifer who's hair fell out...

I would love to be able to go to a farm and buy a calf I can see in person over any kind of bid-off but where we live thats hard to do. So I like the on-line sales with the videos. I do not like the telephone bid off sales at all and will never buy that way again.
