We've never shown a Hereford before and are little confused as where to start on buying for supplies.  Any ideas on what to buy/mix for colors when painting their legs??  Any suggestions would be helpful, I thought I'd put in an order this week.

A good hoof trimmer will help.  Last year, we practiced walking at a pace where the stride was right and tried to walk a mile in the morning and again at night.

Ha, I love that you run your parents with the cattle...if only I could turn out my husband and kids with them too!!  We currently just have show steers so I'd be too tempted to turn out the family before it got dark!!
