We have a DV shorthorn steer, when we bought him as a calf he was perfect, but now as we watch him grow I am concerned (and probably impatient) about how he is growing.  He just keeps getting taller and taller, and now seems to be narrow based.... He is a purebred he eats fairly well and weighs...

I wish the shorthorn site search was working.  But even if it was I honestly do not know these lines.  My kids informed me that the steer that we have was the DV. So I stand corrected on any DV being in her lines.

I always root for the longshots (which all came in at the back of the pack).  I love the horses that come from the back.
