This stuff is a little over my head, even though we are starting to talk about genes in biology.  How many cows are affected?  Is it like 1 in 100, 1 in 10000, or 1 in 100000 How much has it grown as of recent?  I really appreciate the experts and education on this subject.

Never heard of them, but that would save on some prep time.  I am just learning a lot of the different techniques to get the steer to look just the way you want, it is amazing what you got to use to get it just right.  O0

When did th/pha start showing up?  I just started showing recently.  Do I need to ask when I buy a steer if it has been tested?  What side carries the gene. Thanks phoebe

How is you prep for show season coming along.  I got my steer tame as a kitten, but I have been working with it since November.  My brother's steer is wild, because he is lazy and waits until just before shows to really start investing time.  ;D

How do I add a picture to my profile?

I just buy my show steers, but would really like to breed my own.  Is it something that would be too cost prohibitve. How much does it cost to get a cow AI 'd, also what other costs are involved?

Simon is a creep, but being a creep is what keeps people watching.  I had a friend tryout, but she actually had some talent and of course she didn't make it on the show.  In the first rounds you will only make it on tv if you are absoutely horrible or absoltely great.  ;)

I echo those comments as it really depends on the judge.
