Very nice out this evening and the calves were feeling good so I took a few snapshots.

Thanks, Herf!!

The JPJ is a heifer out of our show heifer(Fancy) from last year.  Fancy is a natural calf out of our Myrtle Bo cow and JM Vortec.  She is somewhat large framed for most people so we thought JPJ would be a good cross on her.    You're right, I think her heifer calf is going to be pretty good!!

We're really pleased with the Gus X Myrtle Bo and the Premium Blend X Trump bull calves as well.  They're both quite a bit younger so they've still got a lot of filling out to do.    It looks like the right parts are there, though!!

We just got a  Hannibal X Vegas bull calf a couple of days ago and we're expecting a Hannibal calf out of our white Sonny cow anytime now.
If the second one is as good as the first we'll be very pleased.

Lynn, you has some really good ones again.  I am real pleased that Lynn has agreed to share a Flush on his Myrtle Bo cow with our bull
DF Waco. Looking forward to that.  So next spring Lynn should has some Waco X Bo calves for every one to view.

Thanks for the comments everyone!!  I'm not too worried about finding a place to bury the money just yet---I'll worry about that after I get it--besides I've got quite a few acres to find a spot!!  We should have some really nice calves for sale this year so I hope everyone on SP that needs a show calf will stop by and take a look.  I'm running out of kids to show them so I guess I'll be selling pretty much everything.

The Gus X Myrtle Bo calf weighed 95 pounds, came unassisted, and was up and going almost right away.  He looks like he could make a really good bull!!

Thanks for your comments, too, Mitch!!  I'm excited about seeing some Waco X Bo calves on the ground next year, too!!  We'll be taking Myrtle Bo down to Westwood later this week so Mike and Jim can start setting her up.

I don't know how you people can make many comments based on the darkness of the photos.

I can't really see anything.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures, J Turkey!!  I guess that's why I don't make my living taking pictures.  Thanks for looking anyway!!

We got two more calves last night-- a Money Man bull calf out of our Dr Who X Charolais show heifer and a Hannibal heifer out of our Sonny X Charmer cow (MAV Charmer 665S ET)that  produced two Tonic  bull calves that have done very well for us.  Both calves look pretty good and my daughter is extremely excited to finally get a heifer out of her favorite cow"Sugar"!!
