Everybody talking about the officiating.  Theres a video, probably on youtube by now, of an A&M player basically sexually assualting Ben Cotton for 8 seconds on the fumble recovery which led to ben cotton kicking his leg, resulting in a 30 yard penaly. The AM player was not even involved in the struggle for the ball.  Another blown.  Would the interference flag been picked up had  the tables been turned playing down there and nu leaving the big 12.  My bet is no.  This would have resulted in nu first and goal.  Third, on am last scoring drive.  the late hit call was the worst of the game and should be debated by the big 12 commission on these officials.  By no means was that a late hit .  Shoulder pad to body, am quarterback could have possibly even pulled the ball back down.  Resulted in the go ahead field goal.  Turn these last 2 calls around and nu probably wins 10 6  or at the least overtime.  I hope AM fans are proud of the player burying his hand in the top of Ben Cotton's leg.
However, NU should be able to beat the refs and A&M.  A&M is not that good.  Offensive coordinater shawn watson needs rode out of town on a horse.  the only glory he has had on his side of the ball in three years is what Taylor Martinez gave him for 5 games when he was healty.  All that talent and it's built around one man.  Bo Pelini's survivalbility will depend upon his firing.
Now for Bo, his survivalbility should depend upon whether he agrees to anger management classes.  The husker nation should be embarrassed for the show he put on with his anger.  What about the way he treated T Martinez on the national stage.  What did this show do to recruiting.  Yeah the refs are gonna miss calls, there even gonna be bad, which these may have been, maybe even dirty.  But you can't behave that way.  These are all human beings Bo is yelling at.  These are academic student athletes  He's lost touch and is an embarrassment to the husker nation.  I can't even stand to watch his show.  He's not a husker.  We deserve better.  Class and dignity come before a great defensive mind.  Btw, this is coming from a husker loyal..

maybe the guy should have been at the oldest latrine west of the missippi instead of where someone could do that to his leg.

also, the indian restaurant tandoori oven across from the university is really good compared to the one outside of town by the tracks even though it's less formal.  is it still there?  my old college roommate's family owns/ed it.

Glad you see the lighter side of it Knabe.  lol.  Seriiously, I don't see how the husker faithful can even participate on blogs about this today as there doing.  I want to go outside and hide behind a tree.  I don't want to even discuss it with my kids it's gotten so ugly.

maby the refs would cut them some slack if pelini could shut his trap. a&m proved last night that theyare clearly the better team. . . . say the refs did whatever but they gave the coach many free passes on unsportsmanlike conduct with all of the curse words he was using on the sideline. and the pass interference flag that got picked up. was good coverage. and the roughing the passer was a high cheap shot. . . .nebraska embarassed them selves with the undicipline stuff that they pulled last night and a&m won it fair and square. WHOOOPP aggies

You're trying to draw me in aren't you? ;D
Acutually aj, the last think the husker faithful would want today would be your input.  There's enough negativety about what went on last night without your input.  A n M clearly the better team with a 9 to 6 win.  wow.  what were total yard of each.  that's stretchin it.

pretty sad.  the ref is right there, can't even have the presence of mind to ask why the kick and pick up the flag.

the endless 2nd hitter gets the flag is ridiculous.

it would be easier to sit there and take it if more flags got the first hitter.

Yeah and if you watch when he finally quit his fondling, the refs leg then moved over by cotton's, probably making cotton believe it was still the same guy.  Cotton had his head buried.  Funny thing .  I don't think he ever connected with a kick.  This guy is probably an A&M hero today.

Neither team could catch a ball to save their lives.  Nebraska was the best defensive and most undisciplined team I’ve seen play A&M this year.  That kicker and punter were amazing.

Even A&M fans know Nebraska go shafted on that Cotton call and the roughing the passer that kept the last drive alive.

However, I hope you aren’t expecting sympathy from a team that just last week had three touchdowns called back on penalties and watched Robert Griffin score the play after a missed facemask gave Baylor the ball.  The difference is Sherman didn’t throw a temper tantrum that would make a toddler proud.  He kept his cool and like most teams do, his players followed his lead.

In contrast, Pelini took a bad situation and made it worse.  The Cotton call is a perfect example in that while it was b.s., it didn’t cost Nebraska 30-yds.  The call cost them 15 and Nebraska throwing a hissy fit made it 30.  The other three personal fouls, two unsportsmanlike conducts, three false starts, and illegal formation were the mark of a team showing the same lack of composure as their coach.

I’ve never met a Husker fan I didn’t like.  However, that whole ‘classiest fans in the nation’ reputation only applies when the Huskers are winning.

I think if polini would come to K-state and become defensive coordinator would be allright. He is not a head coach. I am probably to much like him but as a head coach there is so much you be. Mangino changed KU football in a couple years. He was to tough so they threw him out. In my opinion if you walk onto a football field you accept the fact that you may become paralyzed from the neck down. It is part of the game. It is a very violent game. I didn't see the game. I watched Mizzou and Iowa state. It is a political correct world. Synder got beat in Colorado also. I do think they have put skirts on Quarterbacks and receivers in todays game. If you want to do your little dance in the endzone and have your little talkshow I think you should man up and take a hit from a no name defensive linebacker coming over the middle.jmo. Where can you see a replay of the game?

Rumors are flying that Taylor Martinez has quit the team... I'm hearing that the reason that he got his butt chewed by Bo is that because he made the trainerers wait to look at him because he was on the phone with his dad... Keep in mind the word "rumors"..

Work a lot of games as a ref-- umpire to be exact-- there is nothing on any one's mind during a fumble but to get the ball- one way or the other-  the kid kicking at an official or a player is reak lucky to be in the game.  You could tell that from Pelini jumping on him on the sidelines.  then Pelini loses his composure  and draws 15 also.  Be on the sidelines and listen to a coach try and "work" an official--then when they get flagged  which is not very often,  the fans want the officials fried.
Pelini was real lucky that the interference flag  was thrown,   it gave the crew time to discuss the 4 angles it was seen from-- without the flag there would have been no way to either make the call or wave it off.
All that want to make the thing way more than what it was is to sign up to call football-  things that happen at real speed are way different than watchjng the you tube video for hrs on end <party>
