Hello, i am going to buy a new clipper and i was wondering if the Andis Pulse ZR 2 vs Andis Pulse ZR? i looked into the X-block clippers but i hear they vibrate too much. please give me your opinion: Andis Pulse ZR 2 VS Andis Pulse ZR

Thanks-ska <beer>

please help me. i am new to steer planet and i really want some help but nobody seems to help me. :-\ i just want to know Andis Pulse ZR 2 vs Andis Pulse ZR? ik the ZR 2 is prob better but it s really expensive. please help.

and what is the Andis Supra ZR or the Andis Supra ZR 2? are they the same thing?

Those look like barbershop clippers.  Why not get AGC Super 2 speeds for half the money?

i have them but i wanted to get something cordless .
Thank you for your reply  <beer>

I would also recommend the Andis 2-speed clippers. I have 3 pairs and they are the most trouble free clippers I have owned. They are easy to maintain and economical to buy.

so if u had to pick one  Andis Pulse ZR or  Andis Pulse ZR 2 what would it be?

I have the ZR’s - they’re handy to have around, but I probably would have never bought them myself, they were a gift. I keep 2 or 3 sets of 2 speeds that I use almost all of the time.  Occasionally, if I remember to have the cordless ones charged, I’ll take them to the make up ring - rarely use them much even then. We do go to a slick shear jackpot show where the rules state that only cordless clippers may be used at the show, so we use them for touch up there.  There’s really nothing wrong with them, I’m just not in the habit of using them. But if you really want them, you will probably end up using them more than I do.

The difference in the ZR and the ZR II appears to be a detachable battery (and around $80). Not sure if that includes an extra battery or not.  I’d guess if you plan on using them a lot, being able to use one battery while you’re charging another would be nice. I don’t honestly know how long the charge on the ZR would last using them alone to actually clip or fit - I know they can be on the charger overnight and off all day, using them just a little here and there throughout the day, they seem to hold up very well.

@DLD thank you! they do not come with an extra battery. i was planing on buying a replacement battery and alternating batteries. the zr holds a 2 hour run time on a 2 hour charge. the Zr 2 holds a 3 hour run time on a 2 hour charge. so i was thinking the zr 2 but idk <beer>

Get the Andis one with the interchangeable batteries and get a couple extra batteries so you can keep clipping while one battery charges instead of having to put the whole clipper on the charger.  They came out with these just after I already had a pair of the others, would have waited on these had I know they were making them.
