Well..he's black.....so....he could be a Salers,Maine Anjou,Simmental,Limousin,Mainetainer,Balancer,Limiflex,Gelbvieh,or angus.Huh, guess the color black doesn't mean a damn thing anymore does it. But by god he's black!

it's one of only 3 native breeds somewhere in the southern hemisphere.  whatever native means, i don't know.
