This is a starpower female we have been showing quite successfully that will be a nice addition to our donor pen when her show career is over.

I have one Star Power that will calve in Aug.  Also, bred some of my bigger Simmy cows to him.  Haven't seen any in production so I can't  say what kind of cows they will make.

Whats the dam side on your heifer?  So what kind of cow does he work on, and how has his bw been. Bought some semen when he first came out, because he was advertised as calving ease, since then have found out different so i havent used him yet.

She is out of a 1/2 blood Angus sired cow, granddam is by Black Maximizer.  Here is a picture of my heifer.  Based what I have observed, I think you need to use Starpower on  bigger framed, deep ribbed cows.  That is the way I have used him this spring.  I think his birthweight will be fine on this type of cow but too much for heifers.

I have a few bred heifers sired by him. He makes them really fancy, plenty of muscle, and sound structured. The only thing some of them lack is body depth. The best heifer out of the bunch is out of one of the plainest looking cows I have. Definitely use on mature cows.
