I know a lot of people that will, I guess it all comes down to what you're looking to spend.  It takes a heck of a Shorthorn to win in Kansas.

I have one that was born almost a month ago.  She's a full sib to the heifer I've been showing this year in a white roan package.  I hope to be getting pics of her soon.  She will be able to compete anywhere.

We have one, but I'm not sure yet if we're selling her.  You might try sending a message to itk, he has been around here a long time and knows all of the breeders in the state and may be able to direct you to some good ones that are a little harder to find, and may be closer to a normal persons price range.

Funny you mention that, as two of our heifers that we sold this year have finished Champion or Res. Champion in the shows that they have competed in this year. Plus, our best heifer we tried to sell, but dad decided to keep back.

Check in with us in September, to get our best of this year. That is when we get our ET calves back from the farm.

You guys down in the Oklahoma territory need to call Almosta Ranch of Guthrie,Lyndell Stults of Luther, small breeders with hellacious shorthorns.Ask Dustin Glover. Also Nelson Plumbtree of Lawton. Then if you get tired of the good one's ask about Stovers. There are some really good shorthorns in Oklahoma from people that don't have web pages. They sell their calves every year from word of mouth from people who have known them for years. Many have competed and won on national levels.

We are going to have a blue roan heifer out of our Radioactive Shorthorn bull we had- When she gets a little older I will post some pictures, big boned, hairy,
and when she was born her hips were already bigger than a scotch comb.  We are expecting big things from this big gal- Mamma is out of x-ray vision.
