I just priced out concrete for a two car garage and it had me thinking.  I will be building a barn in a couple years and I am pondering concrete as a type pf flooring.  I would like to put mats or something on top of the flooring, as I know the effects of concrete and feet and joints.  I feel comforted knowing that I could possible strip everything in the barn down to the concrete and then disinfect it annually.  Anybody else have a barn with full concrete?  Am I better off just putting down good crushed gravel with sand on top?  I am from Saskatchewan so perhaps things would be different for me here.  I have also pondered putting up a Cover-All building as a permanent (long time) barn as to eliminate the use of lighting 24 hours a day.
Thoughts??

We also have concrete floors, we have the extra thick commercial style mats that we put on top.  (Hubby kind of got them free at work)
