Blue roan or white shorthorn calving ease?

I'm looking for a half blood blue roan or a white shorthorn calving ease bull to use on heifers. Calving ease first and clean fronted second. Would help if there was some milk in the lines. Is there anything new out there that's worth trying?

KOLT Kane Nitro !!! For sure calving ease, without getting a throw away calf. Here is a pic of 2 yr old while nursing her 1st calf.
Another one that I like the looks of but haven't used, is the bull Zane Martin, Promiseland Cattle has. I think he is supposed to be calving ease.

Zane Martin has produced some really good and  unique cattle some of which are probably the few links left to the old Montana range cattle-That goes for his Maines, Angus xs and Shorthorns and xs This is the White bull-hes a canadian Deal-I wouldnt use him on a heifer but I think hed go gangbusters on any number of black-simm clubby type cows-Blues almost for certain  The blue heifer is an example of Martins-He sold a bull to some commercial people or something and he posted a group picture of the calves at a local show- THE BLUES WERE STOUT AND NOT FAT NO HAIR ETC ALMOST SLICK SAME WITH THE PART FULLBLOOD LOOKING MAINE HIEFER -They would swallow ALOT of the hi dollar plusses Ive seen back here in terms of real dimension-Other bull picture is Wises white CE bull out of bellfringer-I dont know if they have semen-If they did-Id sure recommend him-Probably first-RE Calving ease O0

I'm not seeing much else out there for calving ease half bloods.

I'm not a fan of white bulls but Saskvalley Banjo 268B from Bowmans looks to be a snorter! Calving ease looks to be right up there as well.
That width, smooth shoulder and wedge shape are huge selling points in my opinion, should give tremendous females!

The bumper on that stumper third from left is impressive... If that thing was furred up and clipped... Yikes...

Mark, I know your type and i like em too. Problem is that hard body cutability look is no longer desired and for good reason. I bred for huge butted, shaped top, cool profiling cattle all through the 90s and 00s too and they didnt work. I ran steermakers full brother, a stinger-cunia-Kadel Urice bred bull, a Moose draftpick cunia bull as clean up to my AI work. and I have exactly zero cows left out of that 15 years of breeding for power and look.

Your friend Brad Davis seems to be balancing the cool with practicality issue well.

An overlooked, never known, and missed white bull I think was the white bull of Joe Labans Roanoke Flashback...

If I was breeding heifers wanting a white bull I would use white jazz. hands down.

Its very difficult to get them thick-As a rule everything seems thick yet functional  but Shorthorns-including mine.It used to be the other way around Those cattle in the picture from Montana had to go out and work in real harsh conditions later-and I am sure they did Right now the most naturally stout sound  calves I know of are at Jim Comptons in Iowa-He has a white heifer out THAT IS NOT FAT-but pretty fronted and just massive-She could swallow anything of any breed and still looks like a calf because she is a calf. When the overdone overaged tubs run out of gas she is gonna shine even more and still be fresh.Then make a good cow because the milk didnt get fed out of her- Flashback was a good bull-There was one son of his that really did it all owned by the late Bradley Eisminger-And the calves werent out of thick cows-they go back basically to performance type cattle for many years.Hes called Studers Precision  He changed em in one shot.Not clubby but a balance of deep rib,soft look and wide made.Because he went back to the Tiemans leader-the calves resembled Jazzes in a way, but were normal sized and performed very well PS did you ever collect any of those bulls or do you or anybody have any old Oklahoma clubby semen like Petro 2 or Boxcar Willy?
