interesting they felt market demand for grading their beef as customers in CA want to purchase prime beef, as it is pretty hard to find out here, unless you go to an upscale butcher. Safeway is the only grocer who really sells a "guaranteed" product. they market ranchers reserve which is guarnteed tender, because they measure these carcasses which has made inroads into CAB. Niman is at most grocers out here.

If someone is dissatisfied, not only does Safeway refund their money, but gives the customer another package of meat, the same cut of equal or higher value.
reasonable niche for grassfed beef with the right genes. just think if grassfed could offer the same guarantee
