I have an Irish Whiskey cow that I would like some suggestions as to what bull would work well on her.  She is moderate in her design, and we have had her through us a midget before.  Thank you in advance for your help.

If you want a show steer. I might give Monopoly Money a shot or Believe in Me if she's got plenty of depth.

What are you wanting from a breed perspective... Maine, clubby, slick, replacement heifer? What were the genetics that threw the midget? What does your cow go back to other then Whiskey?

Sorry for the delay in answering questions.  She's an Irish Whiskey X Ice Pick.  The mating that resulted in the midget was Solid Gold.  We are attempting to breed show steers out of her.  The choice we made since my last post was to breed her to Yellow Jacket.

Horn's Lovin the Business (Yellow Jacket son) would be one of my choices. Also call Horn up and he will guide you with the right kind of bull. Perhaps a Charolais cross with something other then something with too much Maine (Your cow is basically linebred Cunia). He'll know some bulls that will work. Solid Gold was probably too tight wound for your cow. I would sure try and loosen her up. JMO.
