Here is a couple of pictures of my calf by NPS Improvers Stride out of my Eskimo Joe x Missie Ruth cow. He was 73 lbs, really thick & heavy boned. Just not real big. I've had several people see him so far & couldn't get over how square he was & how much bone. Still trying to decide what to use on her.

He looks pretty good to me!  He reminds me alot of our first Magic Man calf...he's a white bull calf too, with a lot of bone and thickness..and about the same BW.   If this little guy turns out nice, would you consider going back to Improver's Stride?

I don't know. Her 1st calf was a hfr by Primo, that was real nice. She was the 1st calf sold last year. I flushed this cow to Heat Wave & she kicked out 16 unfertilized. I then just turned her in with Stride to get her bred. You'll like this Justin, one guy that saw her & her calf suggested Perfect Timing.

I really do like Primo, I wish we had some of him to use on our non-Trump bred females.  I think he would work well with a big ol Kool cow we have.
Hey! Perfect Timing works good on her type, he'll certainly lend thickness and power to the calves, as well as the best hair we've ever had on calves!  Plus, all the calves we've had out of him gain on nothing but air and water.
Have you thought about using Ace of Diamonds? We're using him some this year too, albeit on the cows that have Sonny pretty close in their pedigrees.

VERY VERY NICE!!! STOUT. If you stay at this pace with the rest of your calves you will have a very nice year.

Very impressive.  Should make a heck of a steer for someone.  I would breed her to a clubby bred shorty bull like Vegas.

Vegas is a good bull....but since when is Trump x Mirage "clubby"?  Just wondering...I always thought of clubby Shorthorns as Double Vision, Steermaker, Bad Moon Rising, Eskimo Joe, stuff like that.

I really like the way he looks, but I haven't seen anything from him yet, have you?  He and Ace of Diamonds came out at the same time right?  I thought those two were a couple of the better Shorthorn bulls to hit the scene in the last couple years since Vegas/Sin City.

Vegas makes way better steers than the majority of those bulls, except for Double Vision.  Alot of the bulls you have listed are pretty old school.  He makes clubby looking cattle in my opinion.

If I was going to go that route, I would go back with Primo(another full brother & I own a share of) her 1st calf by him was pretty nice. I had thought about Kaboom , I really like his calves.  The Ace of Diamonds calves that I've seen & like the best are out of Sonny dtrs(he really seems to nick with them).

I've seen Get Serious and he does not look like his photo. he has a full brother that is way better, that is all I am going to say. most of the other bulls seem like good suggestions. I like Sonny and Clear. I really like the Gus bull that Stump had in Louisville. He was STOUT. What are your plans for this calf. I know a good home in Texas that will need a steer. ;)

I agree with you on Stumpys bull. I was tied across from him at L'ville & looked at him all week. He's definitely for sale.
