Down to 5 right now & that is cold enough.
Speaking of cold...
Honestly, 1 time my dad & I had a blow out on our stock trailer in North Dakota, just west of Fargo. The night before the wind chills were - 90 something!!!! It wasn't quite minus 90 during the day, but it was well below zero actual temp & the wind was whipping pretty strong. We each took turns getting out the truck while changing the tire. Our hydraulic jack was almost useless. 2 ND state cops stopped & checked on us. They cracked the window & said they would stay & watch us or they would radio for help, but they were not getting out of the vehicle... I couldn't blame them! Anyway, we got the tire changed, but it took us a little over 2 hours! I promise I had on 2 jackets, a sweat shirt, a long selved cotton shirt, an insulated underwear shirt, a t-shirt, a thick pair of gloves with a thin pair underneath, insulated underwear bottoms, a pair of jeans, a hat, hoods, 2 pairs of socks... the longest I could stay out in that mess was about 10 minutes. It would take 15-20 in the truck just to warm up. We got to Omaha & it was -14 & it felt a whole lot warmer! We got to St Louis & had another blow out. It was 32 degrees & I got out without any jackets on & thought that it felt good. I told everyone around her not to complain about the cold temps... - 90 wind chill gives a whole new meaning to cold!! Those were the good old days... LOL!!
