Deerpark improved 3rd

Did a search on him and couldn't find a lot of info on him. I see elbee has been very successful with linebreeding him. I d like to here all about him and what everybody thinks of him.

knabe- good call..that is an excellent example of top Angus genetics.  I think that the first Shorthorn entry into the hall of fame should be Deerpark Improver.  , He is the basis for soo many herds today. I think that ELBEE should know. ;D   Irish genetics really pushed the Shorthorn breed to be the maternal powerhouse that it is (well, it is if you have the right kind of animals).  Descendants of Improver's still perform quite well in the showring and go on to make excellent cows.  He is what I would call "The Irish Cow Changer"        There are soo many other good Shorthorn bulls that I could talk about all day long, but Improver should be at the top of any Shorthorn breeder's list.

I have a question for you Shortyjock89- which Improver? Elbee sent me this message (hope you don't mind me sharing it Lee?):

I think hes one of the best commercially oriented Shorthorn bulls of them all-low Bw-and as far as look and HIP-if youve seen one youve seen 40 years of them-you can pick one a mile away. O0

We are using a linebred improver the 3rd son.  I feel like he is a very important tool that will move my herd forward.  On a side note I have a bull calf out of him and a Free bird daughter that weighed in the low 60s and looks as good as any 2 week old calf I have ever had.  I was always told the really good one were good from birth.
