I usually tag calves when I first find them. I tag them in the middle rib of the ear as a rule. I have a heifer that is 6 days old that has a bit of a droopy ear past the ear tag.
Is it possible I hit something when I tagged her? If I did should I cut it out and retag her, or is the damage already done. Or do I just worry about stuff too much, and it will be fine in a few days.
