I was wondering what the earliest someone has had a young bull pass a semen test?  I've had one pass @ 10.5mo.  I was just curious.

10-11 months I had one. Had a friend tho that had Jan.- Feb. heifers and bulls weaned in a pen together in Sept and had 2 calves the following summer. So those young bulls were obviously ok.

Pass to breed or to freeze?    I know we have had nine and a half month old breed a heifer calf.  And hat is if it was the oldest bull in the group doing it.

I was just wondering passing to breed.  Information on passing to freeze would also be helpful.

Through the years, we've had several bulls pass BSE's in the 10-10.5 months of age category.
