First time showing at OYE

OK I know this is late but here is a picture of my daughter with her first show heifer(Maine) at OYE. Stood 2nd. Not bad IMO. She did a good job showing her...

That is a really nice looking heifer.  What are her bloodlines?  That's a pretty tough show.  Looks like you are going to have a fun show season.

I am guessing your daughter is the one in the Yellow shirt.  the only thing that I would have her do differently is have her relax her head just a little.  The heifers nose is pointing up to the sky.  Sometimes when you pull that head up to high it makes the calves look weak topped.  Keep up the good work and good luck!
