Five Longhorn Crosses for Sale Near Lott, TX - ideally looking for pasture ornament homes!

Two heifers and three steers. Purchased as started, laid back roping cattle in January, 2024 at approx. one year of age, making them around two years old now.

The two larger (older) ones came with tipped horns, we tipped the smaller ones only a little bit (making them safer and easier to handle and transport).

The largest steer's horns measure 45" tip to tip. The smaller red/whites range from approx. 26 - 36" tip to tip. They are estimated to vary in weight between 600-900 lbs.

We only roped (headed) them very lightly before my husband's horse was sidelined early this spring. They have been turned out ever since and are now getting too big to rope.

They are easy to push, handle and come when you call, easily go in chute. All will gladly eat cubes out of your hand and most will tolerate head scratches. When pastured near our barn, they all came up for a rinse with the hose when it was hot.

They all had a Blackleg/Clostridium vaccination before we got them, and we gave them all one more this spring. They've been dewormed every 90 days.

We are primarily horse people, and this was our first bunch of roping cattle after building our new roping arena. I have absolutely loved having them, admittedly got really attached and would like to see them go to a pasture pet / yard art home!

Individual Details:
BIG POPPA - Large, beautiful black to brown gradient and white spotted steer - huge horn base, laid back & calm, very food motivated (I think he'd make a great saddle steer)
PEPPER - Large black and white spotted heifer, alert, a bit more skittish than the others, but safe to be around
FLOWER - Red and white heifer, pretty, feminine doe eyes, fast, confident & sassy, long ear hair & white dipstick tail
CURLY - Red and white steer, very friendly and kind, his forehead hair is curly in winter or when it's wet
LITTLE TIMMY - Solid red steer, may have been a bottle calf, inquisitive, bashful, polite, very cute!

Asking 4K for all five, or 2K for the two larger black & whites (Big Poppa, steer and Pepper, heifer), or 2K for the three smaller ones (one heifer and two steers - Flower, Curly and Timmy).

If they don't sell by mid-November, we'll have to take them to local sale barn.

Located near Lott, TX. Pick up is ideal, but we may be able to help arrange transportation.448885887_10163691875879409_3791076444253333585_n2.jpg
