if you're really wanting to keep a heifer out of this cow.  breed her angus.  find an angus with plenty of muscle and depth with some milk.  then you'd have one heck of a replacement.  if you're looking for a show heifer though.  throttle's weren't really known for throwing great show heifers.  but tremendous steers.

I am just really worried about her feet. She doesn't have good hooves to begin with and now that we have gotten so much rain there is a lot of mud that is getting between them. I pull out what I can. We needled her today with penicilen. We had to needle her at the beining of the summer because she was limping and penicilen seemed to help but now it is a different foot. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Koopertox works the best for me. Clean the hoof as best as you can and then spray it on and above the hoof. Do it a couple times ro more in a week and keep giving pen. Should clear up in a couple weeks. As for soemthing to keep a heifer I would stay away from anything with heatwave backround. Many do not milk, and many will have calving issues going back to another bull. Sunseeker, WMW, Ali make good mothers. I also am really imressed with my Ground Zero cow and some Lucky break sim cows I have as well. Plus if you stay away from heatwave as a cow to keep you can always breed her down the road to heatwave or heatwave sons.

She is bred Sunseeker right now for a December calf, and I am praying so hard for a heifer. She had a super nice Sunseeker steer this year that we will show in April.

I do not know a lot about throttle's but, if you thinking clubby, if you get a sound Who female they are worth their weight in gold. They make great momma's. Monopoly has no record at this point for females in production or at least as much as who. You also might want to consider, OCC Legend and OCC Anchor for females.

If you want a good replacement female that you can breed most any way you want, for club calves or whatever,I would breed her to Strictly Business. This cross has been utilized several times over in past years with great results. You should get the power from Throttle and the hair and style from SB.

This isn't going to help with the breeding decision but as far as the feet go, use a very high quality mineral with high amounts of A, D and E.  We have always used Vitaferm, whenever I run out and use something else I have one cow that will start limping.

Depends sounds like you like the clubbys so in that case you need something that will counter balance your cow. Like they said monoply is for steers so far not for maternal cows. I would agree if you want to keep for a good cow breed angus if for clubby heifer breed to someone you think fixes everything you dont like about your cow to make a good heifer.
