Goofy pup

Everytime I go to feed, this 7 month old pup will go and hang out with the heifer, he will move with her from the grain feeder to hay feeder and just lay down about 10 feet away. Once she is finished he'll get her to chase him for about 2 seconds and then he heads for the house. I will be finding his spots he gets in at and fixing them prior to calving. Just thought it was kid of humerus.
