Just spent a week with our very own steer planet poster "cowboy". I thouroghly enjoyed the week and we talked alot of horse and cow over that period of time. I feel truely blessed to have been able to host him here and the knowledge gained (hopefully retained) is immeasurable. For those of youi that haven't had the opportunity to meet him I will say he lives up to his SP name. He is probably about half way home by now, safe travels my friend. Y'all come back ya here! RW

Yes, cowboy is definatly one of a kind!  Had I known he was just south of us, I would have come down to visit!

Hope you enjoyed his "enlightenment" RW !

He did see a couple of decent ones - a couple of 8 points and a 17 with double drops on one side and a single drop on the other. I wish there had been more corn out of the fields and he could have seen alot more. He is now safely back home with an old red cow in the pen. I think he might consider coming back someday. RW

I'm trying to talk him into the idea of coming back some time in the future to do a mass flushing here. It's still in the developmental stage but if I can roundup a few of my donors and some from others in the surounding areas, I think we can make it work. We'll be sure to give you a heads up when he gets back in the neighborhood! RW

Jeez, didn't know I was so famous! hehehe

Hey R-Dub -- I thoughly enjoyed the few days I spent up there -- all but the rain of course. I can now say I can add to my resume that I have offically rode a horse in Iowa -- hehehe! Darn pretty country too, all but the mud. Wish I could have stayed for a month, but I got to realizing if I didn't leave soon , Iowa would never be the same --

TMJ, I tried my best to pack sopme more STUFF into that trailer on the way there, but I didn't have any room for a few things. Tried to call ya -- ANSWER THE PHONE !! hehehe

RMB -- a "GEM" you say ?? ha -- more like the rock embedded in my horses foot last week -- but I'll take it any way. !! hehe

Got home safely -- although had an unwanted visitor on the way. DOT sucks by the way! JMO

Take care of that buck RW -- go rope him with that new rope and cut off those antlers -- so he will still be there next year OK?

Terry
