Hi everyone, I want to start my show steer on a non melatonin based hair growth supplement to support his hair as the weather begins to warm up. Have any of you tried Haired Up, Big Wig, Hair and Hide or Epic? What were your results? Which works the best?

I understand what you are saying.

Here's the thing......they will ALL lose their hair at some point, no matter what you have them on.  We had a steer drop his hair 2 weeks before Kansas City a couple years ago. Have had others do the same thing.

You can't get them to hold their hair forever.  You have to figure out the timing.

Growing.... and keeping hair on a steer has just as much to do with the steers diet and feed intake as it does with how you take of the hair. Purina Fitters Edge and Glu Coat does wonders for growing hair.

Oh no! That's awful! How long on a supplement before they lose their hair?
