Tell us how the calves turn out..... I like the bull's looks, but looks do not always translate into production.
Our ugly old #19 shorthorn cow which did not walk on her back legs correctly and had been a recipient for my neighbor never raised a calf that was not a keeper. I have 5 blues out of her and sold a black one last year due to age. They all raise great calves. She raised 6 great cows in my herd. People come and look at our cows and they always comment on the blues either first or second.... we have some out of Chi's that get their attention too...
