Heifer not coming into heat

I have a heifer that is not coming into heat she has come in before and all the other heifers with her have come in. What do i do? Please help thanks.

Preg her first... 

Cidr & cysterlin ..  7 days..  Lute..  breed on observed heat or by time if you don't see anything.

Preg check her with an ultrasound. That way if she is not bred, they should be able to look at her ovaries.
What breed or bloodlines is she? Is she late maturing type?
I think I would recommend turning in with a bull, if all is well. That way, if she is the "silent type", the bull can detect it!

I had the exact same thing with my heifer. I just turned a bull in with her and let mother nature handle the rest. I figure I have time to AI her later for now I just want the calf.

It was only her and a yearling bull in a pen that we had to walk by everyday and she had a patch on so we could tell if anything had happened. I had her preg checked about a month ago and he said she was bred. It helps to have a neighbor who is an animal nutritionist and has the ability to preg check. LOL.

Every year we have a similar problem with some of my heifers that are Chi/Ang crossed with Maines.  I try to AI them, then turn them in with a bull and have an early Spring calf rather than a fall born.  They originated from a Chi/Angus we bought for our kids years ago and she bred late her first year, but never missed.

Well this heifer is a chi/angus with a little bit of Maine Anjou.
