This is an example of what power Red Angus cows look like. We have a whole herd of these. Imagine what would happen if we bred these cows clubby?

Sorry about the phone camera quality. It is all I had with me today.

If you breed a cow like this clubby, make sure you only do it once. The industry needs many more just like her. A super female!  Cows like this don't need to be kept in the spare bedroom.

Haha. You are right. She is obviously a power donor cow that  raises herdbulls. I thought the club calf guys would be suprised that there are purebred Red Angus cows with that kind of power.

A nice typical red angus cow!! (Seen some worse, some better) But a darn nice cow that I would enjoy!
Clubbie guys wouldn't like 'em. Milk too much, too much growth (weaning calves too big to show - imagine that!) and from my experience way too gentle to be challenging!  ;)  (relax people, I am joking.... )

I can see why she is a favorite!!!

We have trouble getting the judges here in the states to believe that cows like her actually do exist. They tend to say they are over conditioned.

Tell the judge to come to my place next year after this cow and her herd mates have bale grazed and ate snow all winter and tell him to bring his cheque book. I think he will be a believer after that.

Do you have any pictures of her calves? Sure she looks good....quite fat but i can look past that. Good cows produce good calves despite how they look! <cowboy>

This is a very good cow, and I bet she weighs more than 1200 lbs and that she can birth more than a 65 lb calf with no problems, and that she can raise a big weaning calf with no extra feed other than grass and hay, and stay in great shape while doing it. I bet this cow can handle real world conditions just fine. IMO, it is cows like this that will make the beef business better.
