This is a hfr I will show in 8 weeks (the one that kicks). 12 months end of month. Sire SVF Hi Road dam by New Trend 315. Some old embryos I bought. Pic could be a bit better and I know many would want more hair on her but please opinions.

I think she looks nice. Like her pedigree. Really square hipped and pretty fronted. My only concern would be her hind legs are tucked under her too much in the photo. How is she on the move?

I like her.  And while the show ring wants them straight legged a little set to the leg in a future cow is not only okay by me it is preferred.  She looks like she could grow into a good broody cow.  LF

I like them a little deeper bodied than she appears in this picture but she seems to have a nice set to her hock and pastern..I don't like'em straight and would take a sound calve over a straight calve that had a little deeper body...

I'll have to agree with you on the legs. Too many are getting too straight with not enough flex in the pasterns.

Thanks for all the comments. She is standing on a slope that is running away towards her head so she is not standing as she should.

I think that she is nice, good rump and muscling, she could have a straighter topline but that may just be by the way that she is standing, good lucj O0

Very complete heifer...and since you say she is standing on a slope I am going to say she is ok...but, while I agree that many are getting to straight, if this heifer was on level ground standing normally and looked like that I would say her hind legs needed some improvement

Can't always tell from a picture, but for me those rears are near perfect. You have a lot of breeding options with rear structure like that. When you have one too straight, your options become very limited. I saw some feeder calves weighing about 300 pounds sell last week at a local sale for around 50 dollars per head. Reason for this poor sale was because they were posty on the rears. Something for us all to watch in the future with todays show cattle.Anyhow, if you don't like her rear legs, I'll sure find room for her here. Nice heifer.
