I'm not sure how this is going to work out. My fear is that someone will feel left out but maybe we can give it a try.
I'd like for people to choose someone on the broad that they appreciate & say why. Try not to double up on picks or have people putting down same choices. Might be especially fun if you're nominated to choose someone next.

I'll start out by saying that I appreciate JustinTime or JIT. Not only do I learn from his posts but they make me think. He is a wealth of information on not only the Shorthorn breed but also cattle period. He's also very well read & his posts are fun to read. You get a mini history from him.
Also he is a fantastic cult leader even if I haven't gotten my kool-aid yet.

If anyone thinks this is a bad idea, let me know. I think it would be fun if some of our choices aren't obvious ones. You don't have to wait for JIT to respond if you have someone in mind.

I appreciate kanshow because we know all the same people and do all the same things but have still never met. We were at 3 small shows this summer at the same time and still managed to miss eachother. We are in the same circle of people but seem to be the odd people out when the chance to meet arives. It is great to share local gossip with somebody and kanshow is it. Also aj, Elbee, Stumpy, Davis Shorthorns and MBar get the fellow KS shorthorn breeder love.

I appreciate Malinda, even if she choses to lay low and not post on certain subjects. When we finally get her involved in discussion, her opinion is unmatched.

I appreciate Knabe....  He offers very intelligent opinions on a variety of subjects.

I appreciate Dusty because he seems to be a great wealth of knowledge, and when he posts I almost always gain something from it.

I wonder about Knabe......He makes me think WAY to hard and makes me wonder if hes all there!! (thumbsup) ;D ;D ;D ???

I appreciate the fact we have a forum like this we can share and learn from some of the most dynamic folks I have came across. There isn't just one person for me on here, there are several that have helped me and didn't even know it. Everyone keeps it real here!

Plus I'd like to include JSchroeder. He runs www.cattle.com. He's provided us w/ much info on sales, semen codes & other up to date issues. also he tracks board activity & has given us many plugs.

First, thanks for those that have mentioned me here, I appreciate you all -- and feel very fortunate to have been able to try and help you with your programs or even a tid bit of info that has helped you -- thanks for letting me into your world.

There are so many folks here that I have never met in person, but have talked to many times or e-mailed on different situations. This is what keeps the biz going, good people, great cattle, our life of free enterprize and self employment. Just a great way of life.

My list is large -- way too long to list every one -- and for that I am very gratefull.

RED -- you know we all love ya -- you have made us all sick with worry -- so you know where you stand with every one.

Common Sense let me get involved in her sale this year with Max, I had a great time and appreciate all the work you and Brad did for me this summer.

I have met several on here as well, have done some work for several others -- Show Hfr up in Iowa, Cowz in Colo, Jill in Kansas, RSC in Nebraska, Dusty here as well, CAB in Iowa -- how can I forget you?? -- Knabe down in California - what a great guy you are -- XXCC in Montana - a wealth of info and great guy who helped get us the first winner of the free flush event (Still trying to get that done as the cow is not here yet) Chris in Kansas -- Big B over in Illinois - Good Egg of course -- DL for all the work she has done -- good grief this list could go on for days!

I know it was probably meant to list just one, but this Cowboy can't do that -- I have way too many good memories for just one!

Also to those who never post here, but always read the site almost daily - some of you are customers here and are ALL friends!
