this comes off the thread about a silencer for a generator.

Can someone make coffee cups so that if you misplace them you can clap or whistle & they let you locate them? I find more 1/2 full coffee cups sitting around!

Or self cleaning glasses? I hate to have to always clean my glasses or find the dirty.

Come on! what's some other good ideas or does someone have solutions?

a bendable teeth comb where the tines don't break so easily.  ace combs used to or still do guarantee they won't break.

wooden show sticks again, i guess they break though.

a way to attach panels to a barn that when you take them off, they don't protrude so bad an animal gets gouged.  i put 2x4's around mine.

little jacks to go under a squeeze chute so you can get your scale underneath and remove it when you don't need it.

attachments for squeeze chutes that allow you to close it more safely so that when just calved momma can't break your hand either with a longer handle or a thingy some have so they can't get their head at you.

A backup system that lets you accurately line up your ball with the trailer without use of a buddy or getting out a thousand times.

Jason, They actually have flag markers attached to magnets that you put on top of the ball. A cheaper alternative is take a piece of PVC about the same size as your ball , crosscut it with a hacksaw about  3 inches deep on one end & push it down onto your ball.

My deluxe Priefert chute squeezes with a foot pedal and the whole right side will open with another foot pedal and close with the same pedal.  Almost no hands needed except to close the head catch.  Even that can be set for auto catch.

I've always been told that the hormone in pregnant women doesn't compare to the hormones that a pregnant cow gives off, so a bovine urine test won't work. However, last year I found a blood test (blood required only needs to be the width of your fingernail) from BioTracking that is 99% accurate and that was a life saver. Much easier and samples can be collected after 30 days of exposure.

How about if someone made something that would get rid of mud and made the dirt stay solid all year?

Mine are pretty far fetched.

How about some sort of weather deal that makes it rain in the pasture and not in the dry lot.

A way for all the data in my mind to be transferred via thoughts into my computer or at least onto paper.

A car that could be programed to ferry the kids around to all the places they need to go.

I would like to see a small alcohol distiller that individuals could own...and they could make alcohol to add to their own gasoline instead of relying on oil companies to do it. The oil companies still controll the ethanol deal.

Thats easy just look at an old moonshine setup. A guy just got busted around here for moonshining and he had 3 1000 gallon distillers and about 1800 gallons of 'shine. Same thing as ethanol so it would probably be pretty easy to do.

But, I still have problems on knowing how close I am to the tongue of the trailer with dropping the tailgate.

I think a little back up camera would be nice

You could by a camera that fits on your bumper or tail gate and you would have a screen in your truck.  Since we have been looking at securtiy cameras I have seen alot of these being used for all sorts of things.

I would like a robot to clean, dust, vacuum, and do laundry.  I do not want a maid, because that would cost me money.  Oh yea and do the grocery shopping.
