That is his shorty reg number. you can go to www.shorthorn.org and go under searches and enter his name in animal name.
He is half blood shorthorn. Or you can enter his reg number it is the number without the AR.

I was wanting to find some info out on this bull. Can he be used on heifers? Are his calves consistent? What colors does he throw?  Is he a terminal sire or can you keep his heifers? Thanks.

not on heifers
he throws some blue ones and black ones. have seen red and black and white.
depends on the heifer
terminal sire.

consistent? no. ive been around 3 different calves from weaning to finishing. in the same year. one was big and framey but he had style and muscle. he was RC at our fair. one was smaller framed and THICK THICK. as thick you can get one. he got 2nd in class. he had kinky hair. blue roan.

the other was high seller at AGR calf sale in ohio last year and i dont know how he ended up doing but i had the opportunity to buy him and didn't. i should have though but i already had a calf that i was using.

the two i i saw finished were in my 4h club and they both finished really good, around 1300 pounds. had awsome hair (except the kinky haired one) all of them had stylish front ends and square hips and a lot of bone

We had four calves out of him this year...which is not alot to go on, but all of them were out of three quarter sisters. Two solid blacks, one red brockle and a black/white markings with a bit of blue in her. As far as birthweights go, three of them were in the 80# range and came easy. The last one (good thing she was the last one, as the bull was used on my recommendation and I would have got chased off the farm if she was the first  :-\ ) was 126 lbs and a HARD pull out of a four year old cow. We will see how they grow - two of them will possibly make show calves, although they are not quite as thick as I was expecting. All four of them are really hairy and fairly sound in their structure. I am generally pleased with how they are coming along but we won't use him again based on the inconsistency in birthweight.

a 365798 cross with a reliable epd? come on man. i know a fella who recently had a csection done on a 4 y/o due to manchild. not saying he is a cow killer but there is no way i would use him on a heifer. or any clubby bull for that matter

U cant go on EPD's with composite bulls, there is no consistency. some of them have tendencies but i would not trust a composite bull on heifers.

O.K. Thanks. I don't know much about club calf business, that's why I'm here!

You came to the right place. This is a pretty honest group of folks that will help you through. We all learn alot from one another. Or least I feel I do. It seems like learn something new every time I jump on here.
Another way to look at the club genetics is 3 and 4 way cross bulls used on 3 and 4 way cross cows and you roll the dice. Our best luck has been with clubby on a purebred or fullblood cow.
