National Shorthorn Show & Sale (AUSTRALIA)

Evening all

Just posting a link to the facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/NationalShorthornShow) and website (www.nationalshorthornsale.com.au) for the National Shorthorn Show and Sale to be held in Dubbo, NSW, in a couple of weeks. We have quite a few photos of the bulls and females online now and are crossing fingers for a reasonable sale.... though given current conditions, it could be quite ordinary.

He's quite a standout Dan. He was the supreme Shorthorn exhibit at Sydney Royal and was pretty unlucky in the interbreed - though he was in the top five both individually and in the pair with the grand champion female.

There are some pretty interesting bulls being offered again in this year's sale. I could get pretty interested if they offered delivery on the bulls! haha!  It is nice to see a good set of functional, sound made, and stout bulls being offered, no matter where it is in the world.

Snakes or no snakes I'm going to get to the Dubbo sale one of these years (pop)

Theres a few bulls in that offering I would sure like to try out <beer>

Today is inspection day. All the bulls are being weighed, scanned and for the first time, independently assessed by vets for soundness etc.

Judging is now underway! Progressive class results are being posted on the show and sale's facebook page for anyone who wants to keep up with the latest news!
