Was thinking about how both our dogs are named after our father's nickname.
Does anyone have a nickmane that's stuck w/ you? Or one that just certain people (significant other) call you? I don't want ones that are mean or that have hurt you.

In high school I was called Hype. Hubby calls me Pugin or Pooh. His is Snugs.

Moe.....even people who dont know that is my nickname call me that.  Also, when I was about 5 I chopped some of my hair off and my sister said I looked like a boy so she would, and still does, call me Morris.  I only respond to her calling me that, and dont like when anyone else has.  Of coarse I get called Pumpkin by my significant other.  I just call him Lando....shorter for Landon.  Im not origional, but it works.
We also have a Min Pin pup named Boone.  One of our friends called him Spoon, so that stuck too.  He understands, and responds to both~!

Boy am I jealous, I cant even put what my significant other calls me because there are young ears around. I may have to show him this post. Some people that have only known us for a short time think we are fighting but its just how we are. It makes our friends laugh when they tell them the facts.

When we were younger, my little brother had speech problem. My name is Christian and when he said it it came out as "Kit-ten". Finally they just called me Kit and it stuck. My sister is Marissa and her's came out as Mit-a and that has stuck. Then my older brother has just been Mink. Don't exactly no where that came from- maybe a TV show?

"Junior" I hang out with a lot of people older than me, and I was the youngest one at a party one night, and a kid called me "Junior" and it has stuck ever since.

In grade school, I was Juice..not sure why, but it stuck for YEARS.  My friend's moms still call me that sometimes.  I go by Olson most of the time, but we're big on nicknames around here.  My brothers are Squirrel, Junior (even tho he's not a Jr.), and Pedro.  My sister is Roo, and my best friends are Hornsby, Scuba, and Chain Cultures (Evolved from calling him Shane Cultra, his last name is Coulter.)

My name is bad enough, Gidget....like I need a nickname lol.  In elementary I was the tallest in my class and always was called Gidget the Midget :p
